The Tone City Golden Plexi V2 is a distortion pedal with the classic sound of a legendary British rock amp 'turned up to eleven'. The pedal features a Plexi-style tone, a good clean-up and dynamic reaction to guitar's Volume control. The detailed, accurate definition and the excellent string separation make the Golden Plexi a perfect choice for blues, rock and even metal. The wide gain range goes from a sweet crunch all the way to a fat, crushing high-gain distortion. The updated V2 version provides an even larger gain range and an improved signal-to-noise ratio.

Guitarists always want to have a space pedal with collection of effects, Space Station Pro is perfectly achieved this wish. Users can get three space effects by using Space Station Pro, digital delay, digital delay-verb and digital reverb. Space Station Pro made up of two independently modules, digital delay-verb module and digital reverb module with all adjustable parameters, users can select the two modules by the MODE switch in the middle of the pedal. Each module is independently work and correspond to itself parameters, and the parameters of four knobs are reused. As everybody knows, the delay effect is indispensable, but sometimes we need to add a little reverb effect to enhance the sense of space, this time, the digital delay-verb module is the best choice. When the digital delay-verb module is available, just turning on the REVERB knob, you can immediately get atmospheric and psychedelic space effect. The digital delay-verb module provides 2000ms of delay time, and the DELAY knob and REGEN knob can be used to respectively adjust delay time and feedback level, In other applications, if you need professional level reverb, just switching the MODE switch to the top, Space Station Pro is immediately became a reverb pedal with all adjustable parameters. The digital reverb module provide four parameters, PREDELAY, DAMPING, DECAY and MIX, through adjusting them, any delicate reverb tone all can be obtained easily. The digital reverb module can provide a atmosphere reverb for a long time, the decay time can last tens of seconds, it’s very important to make atmosphere music. There is only conversion between digital signal and analog signal inside Space Station Pro, this guarantees the best signal integrity, and you can get higher tone quality than using a delay in series a reverb.

Playing a bass through a guitar fuzz pedal will work OK but the majority of fuzz pedals have the EQ matched to the higher frequencies of a guitar.

The Del Fuego Bass is a variation of our Del Fuego guitar fuzz but with many component changes to match the EQ to a bass guitar.

Del Fuego Bass has its own totally independent boost. 

Most boost pedals are very similar in terms of design, and their main function is simply to kick your signal up by a significant notch. Many guitarists use boost pedals to raise the volume of their amplifiers, to pronounce certain sections in songs and bring them forward in a mix.

Bright mode is the most transparent setting. When engaged, the low end will tighten and a smooth bump will be applied to the mid range. It sounds amazing in all applications (especially bass work).

Deep mode when engaged gives additional boost to the low frequencies – useful for basses with low output pickups.

Del Fuego has the facility to switch the order of the Fuzz and the Boost giving even more versatility. With the boost driving the fuzz sounds ranging from clean, to a mild fuzz to a heavy metal fuzz or with the fuzz driving the boost it becomes more like an overdrive.

 

Technical Explanation of controls:-

SUSTAIN – adjusts the amount of distortion and sustain of the fuzz

PRESENCE – adjusts the cut off frequency of the tone control

TONE – adjusts the fuzz EQ from deep bass to high mids

FUZZ VOLUME – adjusts the output level of the fuzz side of the pedal

BRIGHT -  This is a clean boost which when used in conjunction with the boost volume control gives up to 30db’s of gain.

DEEP  – Boosts the frequencies from lower mids to low frequencies. Cuts the higher frequency below about 1.5KHZ z giving a BASS boost. Used with basses when lower frequencies need enhancing.

BOOST VOLUME - This is the overall volume of the boost side of the pedal. In its highest position (fully clockwise) the pedal gives around 30db of gain which borders into the realms of a mild overdrive.
